About The Verdict

The Verdict is a directory of independent reviews for websites and mobile apps. Every entry gets used firsthand, scored against the same criteria, and written up in plain language — no affiliate rankings, no pay-to-play placements.

Methodology

Each review scores five areas where they apply: trust & security, usability, performance, support, and value for money. Those five scores roll up into a single overall verdict out of ten, shown on the stamp at the top of every review.

• Recommended — a score of 7.5 or higher, with no major red flags.
• Caution — usable, but with trade-offs worth knowing before you commit.
• Avoid — real problems with trust, cost, or reliability.

Guides are separate from reviews: they're practical walkthroughs for getting more out of a tool once you've decided to use it, and they link back to the relevant review wherever it's useful.
